Our Kitchen Membership program provides businesses with a best-in-class, professionally managed commercial kitchen facility for production. We connect Members to services, vending and catering opportunities, and resources.

MOVE.

Union Kitchen Distribution establishes relationships with dozens of retail partners in order to bring products to local and national outlets. Union Kitchen distributes to nearly 200 retailers in the region, including 20 Whole Foods locations.

SELL.

Our retail outlets stock their shelves with local and national brands, including more than 200 food and beverage products made locally in the District of Columbia. We build success by making local products accessible, mainstream, and conveniently available in corner stores.

WE BUILD SUCCESSFUL FOOD BUSINESSES


What started as a food truck peddling unique Korean-inspired tacos has become one of D.C.’s most popular fast casual concepts. One of Union Kitchen’s first Members, TaKorean now has three storefronts and a fourth one on the way in 2017.

Ice Cream Jubilee was born out of founder Victoria Lai’s desire to turn her ice-cream making hobby into a business. The first-time business owner joined Union Kitchen in 2012, and now has two storefronts in D.C. and numerous “Best Ice Cream” accolades.

By working closely with Union Kitchen’s distribution team, Confluence Coffee Co. was quickly onboarded to the shelves of local chain shops, as well as Union Kitchen’s own retail outlet, Union Kitchen Grocery. Union Kitchen supported Confluence in pitching their product to the larger regional chain, and soon Confluence was on the shelves of nearly all Whole Foods Stores in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Chaia started their plant-based, seasonal, and delicious taco business at Union Kitchen in 2013. Union Kitchen proved services critical to the success of Chaia’s business development, and supported their growth as they moved into their first shop in Georgetown in 2015.
